Mr. Green is the founder and a senior managing partner of Blackwater Capital Group, Inc. which manages several Blackwater venture capital partnerships. He has held positions with Jefferies & Co., Inc. and Bear Stearns & Co., Inc. as an institutional equity block trader assisting risk arbitrageurs, pension funds, and money managers. In 1990, Mr. Green formed Arcadian Capital, Inc., a boutique investment banking firm specializing in coordinating mergers and acquisitions, initial public offerings, recapitalizations and reorganizations. He has a B.A. in Economics from the University of California at Los Angeles.
Mr. Groh was the founder and President & CEO of Xplore Technologies, Inc., a publicly-traded technology company from 1996 to 2005. Xplore was ranked the 79th largest and 3rd fastest growing company in Canada. Mr. Groh was originally one of the first cellular dealers in Canada. From 1986 to 1996 he was the founder and President & CEO of Telular Canada, a publicly-traded company in the cellular telephony industry.
Mr. Groh has experience in successfully negotiating large contracts with companies such as Home Depot, Cincinnati Bell, Hydro One, Dell and HP. He also has extensive experience and strong relationships with some of the world's ???tier one??? ODM's and manufacturers. Mr. Groh has successfully raised capital for a number of companies ranging from $2 million up to $100 million. He has also served as a board member on a number of Canadian and US public companies.
Mr. Glasgow's 25-year background with corporate and venture capital backed companies has earned him his reputation and track record for founding and marketing early-stage and emerging growth companies. Mr. Glasgow has served on the boards of two NASDAQ listed companies and his extensive corporate and operational experience includes 10-years in senior management positions with Federal Express. Mr. Glasgow holds a B.A. from the University of Illinois and a M.B.A. from Northwestern University's, J. L. Kellogg Graduate School of Business.
Mr. Huml joined Blackwater in December 2006 as Managing Director of their western banking and China operations. From 2005-2006, Phil was Vice President of institutional sales for Westpark Capital. Prior to that, Mr. Huml was the founder of two start-up companies in the food and beverage industry whose profitability would serve several charitable organizations. In 2000, Mr. Huml was Vice President of corporate finance for Burnham Securities and opened their west coast office. Mr. Huml started his career at Solomon Smith Barney. He attended Arizona State University.
Mr. Buckley joined Blackwater Capital in April 2007, bringing substantial operational experience in the telecom and software industry. From 2005 until recently, Keith was President & CEO of Juke Systems, Inc., a mobile phone and web-based software company in which he co-founded and subsequently sold. From 1998 to 2004, Keith was President & CEO and co-founded Insight Telecommunications Corporation, a company which he grew from start-up to $17 million in revenue. He sold this profitable company in 2004. Prior to 1998, Mr. Buckley ran a U. S. division of France Telecom. He has a BS degree in telecommunications from San Diego State University.
Mr. Hodson's credentials include raising capital and advising clients for Goldman Sachs & Co. in private equity and hedge fund investments. His broad-based career spans the capital markets as a commodities trader to being a financial analyst for institutions such as The Chicago Mercantile Exchange, Lincoln Financial Corporation, and most recently Senior Managing Director at New York Consulting Group, LLC - a boutique investment bank specializing in alternative investments. Mr. Hodson brings an arsenal of strategic relationships. His years of Regulation D investing and his financial experience in the broader capital markets afford him a unique skill set in identifying key investment opportunities for Blackwater. Mr. Hodson attended Becker and Bentley College and earned his degree in Business Management.
Mr. Trask has been Chief Financial Officer for two NYSE member firms and his experience includes all aspects of accounting, finance, compliance and public company reporting. Mr. Trask is familiar with Sarbanes-Oxley regulatory and compliance issues, cost control measures, capital markets formation and is a NASD Series 27 licensed principal. Mr. Trask has in-depth knowledge of investment banking services and provides management and operational oversight for the financial and treasury functions at Blackwater. Prior to joining Blackwater, Mr. Trask held positions as CFO of Arizona Capital, a broker-dealer; WB McKee Securities, Inc. and was Vice President of Accounting at Jefferies & Co., Inc. Mr. Trask earned his degree in Accounting at California State University.
